Agnostic Front have announced a trio of commemorative shows to celebrate 30 years of NYHC. The hardcore punk pioneers will perform the classic 1989 released "Live At CBGB" set in its entirety to pay homage to the passionate New York hardcore subculture that has stood the test of time – a movement Agnostic Front has led since the early 1980s.

Black Breath have debuted their music video for Home of the Grave. The tune comes from the band's recently released Sentenced To Life LP. Black Breath is set to join Martyrdöd, Burning Love and Enabler on the 2012 Southern Lord tour.

Presenting original essays, capturing nearly 400 photos from the dawn of hardcore punk in Southern California, and reprinting every issue of the influential We Got Power zine from 1981 through 1983, is the WE GOT POWER! book, slated for August 2012 release. BLACK FLAG veterans Henry Rollins, Chuck Dukowski, Keith Morris, and Dez Cadena have each contributed essays to the massive upcoming book.

Late last year, Down By Law signed to DC Jam Records , home to JFA and Fishbone and started preparing for their new album that is now titled “Champions at Heart” due out real soon. The band has not released a studio album since their 2003 “windwardtidesandwaywardsails”.
