The recently reunited Refused played a free show at Brooklyn's Europa last week where they were joined on stage by a local New York legend. That legend is none other than John Joseph of the Cro-Mags. Sydney band Phantoms have announced that their upcoming tour with Harms Way will most likely be their last as the band beaks up indefinitely. "No one to blame, the band is just giving it a rest for a while who knows what the future holds!"

Melbourne band Outright have released details of their debut 4 song 7 inch, "Dedication" to be released in September 2012 on Reason and Rage Records. Preorders are now availabe for three coloured options and you can preview the track "Severed Hands" as well.

As we told you at the start of the month, on a recent Pennywise European tour, frontman Zolit Teglas was rushed to hospital due to complications with his back that required emergency surgery. Now it has been announced that Sensefield /Reason To Believe frontman Jon Bunch will be filling in for an Ignite European tour.

Coming out on September 25th is a 96 minute documentary on the legendary Keith Morris fronted band, Circle Jerks titled "My Career As A Jerk". Interviewed are former members Keith Morris, Greg Hetson, Lucky Lehrer, Earl Liberty, Chuck Biscuits & Zander Schloss, with scads of shredding live performances.
