Having first opened in 2006, Kill The Music has been the number one source of anything punk and hardcore related in the Brisbane area.

smlbf2Ron Reyes has parted ways with BLACK FLAG for a second time in the band's history. Rumours had been flying around about his departure since the Perth leg of the band's recent lacklustre tour as a part of Hits N Pits. Today Ron confirmed the news posting a lengthy statement on his facebook page in regards to the situation.

smlbacktrackJanuary 2014 will see old friends reunite as Backtrack return to Australia two years after their debut visit to tread the boards once again with some of the top dogs in Australian hardcore, Iron Mind. Both bands will be releasing new albums in January and celebrating with a national tour.

smlDefeaterMassachusetts' Defeater just premiered a brand new music video for the song "Bastards" on Vevo. Directed by Rob Soucy, the "Bastards" video is a short film themed around the concept of Defeater's Letters Home. It is a narrative period piece from a foreign war, and the plot revolves around the main character who was ambushed in a small camp.
